Exceptional fruit begins withexceptional farms.
While the majority of our Lulita Bananas produce flourish in our very own plantations in the lush landscapes of Equador, we also maintain valuable partnerships with esteemed growers across Costa Rica. This enables us to ensure a reliable supply of pineapples throughout the year, irrespective of the season. Regardless of the source, our pledge remains the same – our Lulita Bananas pineapples will always uphold the highest standards of quality.

Growing Pineapples
When planting, each seed yields a single pineapple. Farmers go to great lengths to guarantee its growing process and quality by showering each plant with meticulous care from our expert horticulturists. They prefer a warm climate, moderate sunlight, and a bit of precipitation – not too much, though.
Harvesting Pineapples
Harvesting pineapples is an art in itself. Unlike bananas, size and color don’t necessarily indicate a pineapple’s ripeness. Instead, our farmers monitor the sugar-acid balance of the fruit, only giving the green light to harvest when it’s just right. Due to the prickly surface, harvesting is a delicate process that requires skill, caution, and protective gloves.
Packing Pineapples
They love warm climate, moderate sunlight, and a bit of precipitation – not too much, though. Once our pineapples reach the packing house, each fruit is cleaned and hand-picked, following our stringent quality standards. Only the premium pineapples are selected.
Delivering Fresh Pineapples
Our pineapples are carefully packed and transported under temperature-controlled conditions, ensuring they arrive in prime condition. This journey can last up to 14 days. While they might appear slightly green on the outside, rest assured they’re mouthwateringly ripe and juicy on the inside!
